I got Aliyah's picture taken at Sears.  It's her one year old marker.  It was quite a challenge and it took two different sessions at Sears to get the job done.  Aliyah just didn't think it was a good idea to sit still, lol.

My First Trip

I made my first trip to the Kona Temple today.  It was marvelous.  Thank you mama for being my escort, I'm so happy it was you.  Thank you Lisa for buying my dress, other things, and sending them so quickly.  I wish you were here too Lisa, but I knew that was impossible.  Next time we are all together, we can all go together!  I love you family....  Thank you for being so good to me.

Visit with Leia

Melissa and her daughter Leia came over today.  Leia is 18 months old and Aliyah is 12 months old.  They had a lot of fun playing together.

At boiling pots today, I got this picture of Aliyah and she looks so tough!  It just cracks me up :)  She is a tough girl, but she is also the sweetest baby in the world.

Aliyah has discovered my shoes!!  And, she loves them!  Aliyah pulles out my shoes from my closet everyday and trys to put them on.  I help her sometimes and hold her up while she walks in them.  It is so cute!

Grandma's favorite

One of grandma's favorite things to do is to feed Aliyah a bottle.  Grandma (along with mama) think that Aliyah is growing up too fast, because she is now mostly drinking from cups and not bottles.  It's great that I got this darling picture.

Silly Goose

It has been raining day and night for the past couple weeks.  There was a pocket where the sun peaked out from the clouds and we went for a walk!  The ground was sopping wet, but that didn't stop Aliyah and Kaya from running around in the grass.  Aliyah loved the ground being so wet, and playing in the puddles.  Kaya and Aliyah both had a nice warm bath when we got home!

Cleaning House

My sister Jenny got this broom for Max (her son).  They live on Oahu and this broom was bought on one of Jenny's visits here.  I remember how much Max loved playing with this broom!  Aliyah loves it too! She plays with it all the time.  It's so cute because she sees me sweeping and cleaning, and she wants to copy what I'm doing.  Here she is with the brooom.

Aliyahs' First Birthday!!!

Aliyah turned one years old on November 1st!!  Happy Birthday Baby Girl!!  I love you!  We celebrated her birthday on November 5th.   I made some food, bought a fabulous cake, and put up decorations (thank you Erin).  A few close friends came, and it was wonderful.  Thank you everyone for coming, you helped make this day for Aliyah very special!
