Halloween!!!

This is Aliyahs' First Halloween!  Last Halloween, I was in the middle of my 26 hour labor of having Aliyah :0  (And worth every second!!)  Aunty Lisa bought Aliyah her first and most fabolous costume -Thank you Aunty Lisa.  Aliyah is a bumble bee, the cuttest bumble bee that has ever buzzed on this earth!

My two little Angels

My two little Angels - Aliyah and Kaya.  Aliyah is 11 months old and growing up way too fast!!!  Kaya is 1 1/2 years old in dog years, and is not growing up fast enough lol!  Kaya is my toddler that will always stay a toddler haha.  If I even talk to Aliyah, Kaya will run over with her ball in mouth begging me to play with her.  Kaya is a very good, sweet, and well behaved dog, but very jealous at the same time.  I'm pretty good at managing my two little ones so they both get the attenction they need and deserve :)

 

Exploring

On our walk to Boiling Pots today, Aliyah let me get a few really cute pictures...  She ventured into the area with the gravel rocks and found them to be really interesting :)

Making a hole

There is a rock wall around dad's place.  He made a hole in it to defer the rain so his place wont flood.  Well, someone patched up the hole he made!  Here we are, trying to break the cement to make another hole in the rock wall.  It started to rain really hard, so... to be continued!

My sister Lisa is a master seamstress!!  She has made Aliyah the most beautiful things - a blanket, stuffed elephant, nursing covers, book bag, and clothes.  Here is Aliyah in one of the shirts Lisa made for her.  It's one of our favorites cause there's an elephant on it :)  Thank you Lisa!  We LOVE everything you've made!!!

Cafe Pesto Crew

When I was in college at UHH, I worked at Cafe Pesto for about 4 years.  I've made some great friends from working there.  One of them is Sarah Cama.  Sarah moved to Washington about 2 years ago and came back for a visit.  We met up a Leileiwi Beach Park and also had lunch with a few of the Cafe Pesto Crew.  It was so nice seeing everyone.

Onekahakaha Beach Park

Today Aliyah and I went to the beach with Katrice, Robin, and Naeem.  Naeem is 6 days older than Aliyah.  The babies had a blast in the water.  The water was very shallow and they were able to walk around in the water.  It took Aliyah a few minutes to get used to walking in water.

Local Fights

Erin and I went to the fights tonight.  Dad got us tickets, thanks dad!  They were awesome.  They are the first ones I've been to in 2 years!!!

Following Aliyah

It's getting harder and harder to get good (not fuzzy) pictures of Aliyah.  She is an expert at walking, and she does not sit still! ;)  While we played and read books this morning, I followed her lead with my camera.  Here are some shots I got.  Something to keep in mind, these photos were all talken within about 10 minutes.  Here's a taste of Aliyah's world...

Brushing Hair

Aliyah loves to watch me get ready, while I put on my make-up and fix my hair.  Something that keeps her intertained is playing with my hair brush.  Today is the first time she brushed her hair by herself with my brush.  It was sooo cute!!  One thing to note, is that my brush is a huge paddle brush!  It's about the size of Aliyahs' leg!  lol.

Too Cool

Aliyah has this incredible gorgeous dress that was given to me from my friend kelly (who lives in NC).  Aliyah now fits into it.  Since Aliyah is walking, and almost running, it is very hard getting a clear picture of her.  But I got some good pictures, with the help of mom.  Thank you Kelly and Mom!
