Shoes!!!!

Aliyah is following right into her mama's foot steps... she LOVES shoes!  Aliyah plays with my shoes literally everyday, puts them on, and walks around with them.  And keep in mind, they are all platform, or high heals. Aliyah loves to wear her shoes too.  She can reach her shoes from the dresser which they are located on.  One day she put the brown sandle pair on all by herself!!!  I was stunned!  She is truely amazing! 

Now this is just beautiful.

My Sister

This is my beautiful sister Lisa. She is showing off the scarf that I got her for Christmas :) It made me really happy that she liked her gift.

The luscious toilet paper roll...  Aliyah has been pretty good about not playing with the toilet paper roll, even though it's so tempting.  Today she gave into the temptaion and had a field day with the paper.  Lol.  She was so happy.  She pulled it from the wall to the door...

Merry Christmas 2011!

Merry Christmas!!  Today is Christmas, and I have been so blessed!  I am so thankful for my family, my mom, dad, sisters and brother.  I'm thankful for all of my wonderful friends.  The biggest influences in my life come from my mom and my sister Lisa.  Those two extra-ordinary women have really carried me through rough times and have supported me in so many ways.  Thank you mama and Lisa, I love you both so much!  I have to many things to be thankful for, and I am very humbled by all of the blessings I've recieved. 

Basically, all presents are for Aliyah!  Lucky girl!!

Aliyah is so cute.  She is so sweet and loves to cuddle.  She also loves to be silly, laugh, and stick out her tongue.

I got Aliyah this pretty dress for a Christmas present.  She is reading one of her favorite books that Aunty Lisa got her, it's the Itsy Bitsy Spider.  Aliyah loves to read the book and when I sing her the rhyme.

Raging River

Here's Boiling Pots.  I love this river.  It is so versitle.  When it rains, the water looks like it's boiling.  When its sunny, the water is calm and fun to swim in.

Today I went to the Kona Temple with mom.  On our drive over, there was a happy face in the grass.  Its been there for as long as I can remember, and I finally got a pic of it!

Aliyah loves to play with my make-up bag.  She uses it for a hat.  She plays with it all the time and is able to put it on and take it off her head without difficulty.  Aliyah loves to put the "hat" on my head too.  :)

Farewell Caron

One of my best friends, Caron, got a job at Queens on Oahu.  Caron and her family are moving to Oahu.  I'm very happy for her and her new opportunities, but sad that I'll be away from my friend.  We went to Hilo Bay Cafe to have a farewell dinner for her.  Caron, I'll miss you!

Silly Goose!

Aliyah was just having fun today, playing and getting into everything.  Here are a few high lights:

Pig Tails

I put Aliyahs hair into pig tails for the first time today.  She looks so cute!  Her hair is so curly, and you cant tell how long it is because its so tightly curled.  Aliyah, your hair is so beautiful!

Mega Blocks Cart

Aliyah loves to climb, onto chairs, couches, etc.  Aliyah loves to climb into things, plastic containers, toy cars, boxes, etc.  She is getting very good at getting up onto things too!  Here is Aliyah in the Mega Blocks Cart.  She played with this for about half an hour... climbing in, climbing out, climbing in, climbing out... lol :)

Super Cool Plants

On our walk today I discovered a couple of super cool plants that are sprouting with new seeds.  I dont know the names of them.  But I thought they were both very beautiful.  Here they are...

I got Aliyah's picture taken at Sears.  It's her one year old marker.  It was quite a challenge and it took two different sessions at Sears to get the job done.  Aliyah just didn't think it was a good idea to sit still, lol.
